Zoey Germain, a proud member of the Liard First Nation with a strong connection to her Kaska heritage, is currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta. She is enrolled in the Aboriginal Teachers Education Program (ATEP), focusing on integrating Indigenous perspectives into education. Zoey is passionate about fostering cultural pride and academic success among Indigenous youth. Her goal is to empower future generations with the skills and knowledge to succeed academically and culturally. Beyond her studies, she actively participates in community initiatives for cultural revitalization and educational equity. Zoey believes in education's transformative potential and aims to support Indigenous educational programs throughout her career.
