(Mixed age group)
Spirit Seekers is a collaborative program with the Red Deer Native Friendship Society, Boys and Girls Clubs, and the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery. This mixed age group of middle school students met weekly throughout early 2020 to participate in a variety of activities centered on Indigenous ways of knowing and culture.
Students participated in learnings on 7 Sacred Teachings, Medicine Wheel Teachings, Pow Wow Dancing, tipi building, and Indigenous games.
