The class stood tall against discrimination and they worked hard to raise awareness of MMIWG2S peoples. The students are courageous and care deeply and passionately about injustices still facing First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. They continue to stand tall and make a difference. The Grade 7 & 8 class sets an example of what it means to connect to local concerns and work in support of reconciliation and for the well-being of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis children, youth, and families across Canada.
