Peter Henderson Bryce Award
The Peter Henderson Bryce Award is awarded every two years on a rotating basis (alternating between the child/youth and adult categories). Named for courageous health advocate Dr. Peter Henderson Bryce, the award recognizes outstanding leadership in promoting the safety, health or well-being of First Nations, Métis and Inuit children and youth. The selection committee comprises members of the Bryce family, as well as representatives from the Canadian Paediatric Society, the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society and experts in the field of child rights and health.
