Jordan’s Principle Scholarship

Named in loving memory of Jordan River Anderson, the Jordan's Principle Scholarship will be awarded to First Nations students studying children's health or children with disabilities. Learn more about Jordan and the importance of Jordan's Principle here.

The 2022 Jordan's Principle Scholarship application is open for applications from November 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022. 

Thanks to generous donors, five scholarships (2 x $5,000, 3 x $2,500) will be awarded by the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada to First Nations students studying at a Canadian post-secondary institution who demonstrate commitment to Indigenous children's health and community service as well as academic commitment and achievement. 

How to apply:

Submit your nomination package through completing the PDF form located below and apply by email: We are encouraging folks to submit their applications through email rather than mail due to new COVID-19 requirements, as of January 5, 2022. However, we will still accept applications sent by mail.    

Please check your application package carefully. Incomplete applications will not be considered. While we appreciate all applications, as a small organization, we can only contact the successful applicant.
