Peter Bryce: Acknowledging A Man of Conscience And Creating New Acts of Reconciliation

Dr. Peter Henderson Bryce, one of the first non-indigenous people to speak out against the Residential School System, stood up for the safety, health and well-being of First Nations, Métis and Inuit children in a peaceful and respectful way even in the face of adversity.

In partnership with the Legacy of Hope foundation and the Caring Society, St. Andrew's will launch a new exhibition on Dr. Peter H. Bryce, a former member of St. Andrew's.

Following the launch, a panel discussion moderated by CBC TV news anchor Adrian Harewoodm, will focus on the importance of being people of conscience with Cindy Blackstock, John Milloy, Teresa Edwards, and others.

The launch will be held at St. Andrew's Church at 82 Kent Street in Ottawa on Saturday June 3rd, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
